Farm & Feast Pump, Fridge, and Check Please

Farm & Feast is not a rhythm hell, but it is not only walking either. Steam lists Mini Games as a feature and flags the product as playable without timed input overall. Those two sentences live together: the day will wait, three overlays will not. This page is the toy chest. Use controls for the raw prompts, farming for when to pump, and restaurant for when to spin drinks and take bills.

Dummy dino spends time on small feedback. On 11 Sep 2026 the studio replied that hose splash was “exactly what we were going for.” On 12 Sep they posted that the hose wraps around more trees and seedling watering looks better. Those are juice, not new minigames, and they still change how the pump-and-hose loop feels. Details sit on the hose update.

Water Pump

The overlay is labelled Water Pump. Official art prints:

• Hold Space while the stopper is in the red area.
• Release Space to pump again.

You refill the tank so the hose keeps running. Fail the band and you waste a Closed morning. Nail it and tomatoes get wet. The diagram is a cutaway pump with a yellow handle and a blue pipe. It is a timing band, not a mash.

Controller players should expect a held face button instead of Space. Steam lists full controller support, DualSense included. Practice this before you plant a second pumpkin field. A small farm is a short pump session.

Steam’s “playable without timed input” flag does not delete this overlay. It means the restaurant will not fail you for walking slowly. The pump still wants the red zone. If motor timing is painful, keep the farm tiny, lower difficulty if the in-game slider helps, and send a note through Discord.

Fridge spinner

Drinks are a separate verb from food. Interact with the kitchen fridge and a spinning selector appears, labelled FRIDGE, with rows of bottles and cans. A circular picker flicks the chosen bottle onto a round tray. Official art shows grape juice and a red can already seated while a strawberry bottle is mid-flight. Esc cancels.

Build a round before you walk. Take Order prices most drinks at $10. A lingering drink bubble is a star you donated to the sidewalk. Stock the fridge from the Drinks tab of the market so the spinner has something to grab.

Wrong bottle? Cancel. Do not deliver strawberry to a grape ticket. Steam’s copy is the scoring rule: leave each glass with the right owner.

Check Please

When a table is done, Check Please opens a card-terminal overlay: PIN pad, tap-to-pay card, receipt. One demo receipt totals $13.97 for Table 05. Finish the prompt. That is cash and tips. Walking to the beach during a bill is how you work for free.

Tips appear as floating values. One busy shot shows $9.14 plus a comment card. Star rating in the top-left is the long memory of these evenings. Wrong extras, missing drinks, or skipped bills drag it. The dish tier list will not save a table you never charged.

Hose juice (not a fourth overlay)

There is no separate “hose minigame” screen. You hold a blue hose on the plots. Dummy dino has said:

• the hose has a length limit you can upgrade to make longer (X, 25 Aug 2026);
• splash feedback was intentional (X, 11 Sep 2026);
• the hose wraps around more trees, and seedling watering effects improved (X, 12 Sep 2026).

The studio also said the game is built in Unity. None of that replaces the pump. The pump fills the tank; the hose spends it. After the 12 Sep post, expect more collision with pines and prettier seedlings. Still farm while Closed.

A practice order for the first evening

1. Closed morning: pump once, hose tomatoes, harvest.
2. Pin Tomato Soup plus Spaghetti.
3. Open with four tables, not six.
4. Fridge-spin every drink bubble.
5. Check Please every green check.
6. Then add tables.

If a toy still feels foggy, it is usually stock, not skill: empty tank, empty fridge, or an unpinned dish. Fix the pantry with the day planner before you blame Space.

No public YouTube walkthrough from dummy dino exists as of this writing. Official motion lives on the Steam store trailers and on zbeedev clips. This wiki will not embed a different game’s “farm to table” video. When a real Farm & Feast YouTube guide appears, it will land mid-article on the matching page, one clip per page.
