Farm & Feast Demo (11 Sep 2026)

On 11 Sep 2026 dummy dino put a free Farm & Feast demo on Steam as app 4691110, attached to the upcoming full game (4521650). The store page calls it a game demo with single-player, full controller support, custom volume, DualShock / DualSense support, and save anytime. This page is the dated record of that slice. How to get it

Open the Farm & Feast store page and install the demo from the download module, or go directly to the demo listing. It is free. You do not need to buy the full game. Check system requirements first if you are on integrated graphics or an older Mac.

Steam may still be “learning about this game,” which only means review scores have not matured. Early demo feedback on the store was a handful of user reviews at the time we built this wiki — too few for a label. Read them as anecdotes, not as a Metacritic.

What the demo demonstrably contains

Pulled from Steam copy plus official screenshots, not from a leaked build:

• A woodland farm with hose watering, a tank, and a Water Pump minigame (hold Space in the red band).
• Crops that include tomatoes, carrots, pumpkins, peppers, and greens.
• A terracotta restaurant with tables 1–6, two chefs, oven, fridge spinner, and a grass queue.
• Recipe book with Tomato Soup and pasta/soup tiles, some still locked.
• Menu clipboard with printed prices (Spaghetti $5.36 through Ravioli $13.97).
• Take Order extras and a $10 drink grid.
• Check Please card-terminal billing and visible tips.
• Market tabs including Dairy, Seeds, and Upgrade.
• A beach beside the restaurant (Fishing is a Steam tag).
• HUD: cash, star rating, energy flame, day clock, Open/Closed badge.

What the demo has not documented

Dummy dino has not posted a public “demo contents” bullet list beyond the store description. We therefore do not claim:

• a guaranteed hours-to-finish number;
• that demo saves will import on 11 Nov 2026;
• a full staff-hire tree;
• named fish or a complete fishing skill;
• every Upgrade-tab item;
• a launch price hidden inside the demo.

If you see a YouTuber state those as facts, ask for a screenshot. This page will stay boring on purpose.

Why the demo matters for November

The full game is eight weeks after the demo’s Steam day (11 Sep → 11 Nov 2026). That gap is short. Feedback you send to Discord now is the kind of feedback that can still change a cozy sim. If the pump timing feels cruel, or the fridge spinner hides Cancel, say so while dummy dino is still labelling the product “coming soon.”

Play the demo as a rehearsal:

1. Learn Closed versus Open.
2. Learn tomatoes and cream.
3. Learn extras.
4. Learn Check Please.
5. Wishlist the full game.

Then stop grinding as if it were a live-service. There is no battle pass here. There is a restaurant you can already run.

Known listing quirks

Copy the specs from Steam, including the odd Linux recommended “8 MB RAM” line, and assume Windows/macOS 8 GB is the real target. Language list is 14 interfaces with English full audio. The demo page lists Italian in the first language rows; the full game page lists the same fourteen with a slightly different order. Both include French, German, and Spanish, which is why this wiki localises those three alongside English.

After you finish a demo evening

Write down what broke. If it was soil, read farming. If it was tickets, read restaurant. If it was shopping, read market. If Steam news later says the demo changed, this page will gain a dated subsection and the guides will follow. Until then, the 11 Sep 2026 demo is the build we have, and it is already enough to have a favourite soup.
